Retrovirus: 2D Puzzle/Level Design

Retrovirus is a 2D puzzle-platformer game about a virus on a quest to infect the host body. As a virus, the player needs to mutate, evade deadly obstacles and solve puzzles to reach the nucleus of the cell.

This game was made as part of the Rapid Prototyping Development course at the Centre for Entertainment Arts.
I was the level/puzzle designer for this project and these are some puzzles from the game.

The purpose for this project was to:
1. Get my hands on the 2D tile map editor of Unity. That made creating levels and setting up the puzzles a breeze.
2. Learn to make puzzles using all the mechanics and space provided to me
3. Practice time management, as this project was a 2 week project, being able to come up with puzzles fast to still have time to iterate them and change them after some gameplay sessions was key
